Iberia’s most successful GAA club!
In late 2003, the Madrid Harps Gaelic Football club began as a small group of Irish expats wanting to stay fit during their time living in great capital city of Spain. They joined the Gaelic Games Europe competition
Today, our club proudly incorporates 2 Men’s and 2 Women’s teams. Hailing largely from the games origin nation – Ireland, we now share a diverse local and expat community from Australia, South & Central America, wider Europe and of course – Spain! Ven y practica tu inglés o tu español! Our club embraces a unique fusion of largely English speaking expats that embrace la gran vida Madrileña.
If you are looking for a new environment in Madrid that is friendly, happy, healthy and Sport based – we have the club for you! Join our social WhatsApp group chat – and you can also embrace the weekend social life that only shuts when the clubs do…
Our players are a mix of students abroad, young workers and our veterans with families in Madrid. As the team is constantly changing with members often staying in Madrid for a finite time, there is always a new face with a new story at the club.
We play in tournaments throughout the year where we travel as a whole club over various weekends, competing and celebrating in cities across Spain and if reached – wider European championships. With yearly tournaments in Barcelona, Valencia, Sitges and Galicia among other great Spanish cities – it’s a good time to be a Harp!
Once a Harp – Always a Harp!
